Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You'll work closely with our customer service team to ensure that all data entry tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to transition to a permanent role after a successful 8-week training period.

Key Responsibilities

* Research and respond to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner

• Enter data into our system with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with our customer service team to ensure seamless communication and data entry processes
• Meet productivity and quality standards to maintain remote work eligibility
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED (education verification is not required)

• 1 year of customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
• Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
• Data entry and/or typing experience
• Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

* 1 year of customer service experience

• 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
• Experience working with various lines of business, i.e., CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

* Strong computer skills, including navigation in Outlook and general computer knowledge

• Excellent data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
