Job Summary

As an Associate Customer Care Coordinator, Medicare, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our members, resolving issues, and answering questions related to our Medicare products. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication and provide exceptional support to our customers. This is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home while still being part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as a member of a service team that supports multiple regions, providing Health Plan customers with outstanding, seamless service in a call center-based team environment

  • Be the first point of contact for a variety of customers, including existing and potential members, providers, internal departments, and employers
  • Provide detailed benefit quotes and review eligibility and premium information on a broad portfolio of products
  • Assist members in selecting medical homes and primary care physicians
  • Educate members and providers in the appropriate use of health plan and clinic services
  • Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries
  • Maintain knowledge of complex custom networks
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Possess a calm demeanor and ability to remain focused, professional, and utilize training to direct callers in crisis

Training and Development

* Initial Training Period: 8-12 weeks

  • Onsite presence required for training, 3 days per week
  • Training period may extend for a longer period of time based upon performance

Requirements

* 2 years' experience working in a high-pressure customer-facing service environment with a proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts

  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Call center customer service experience
  • Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English
