Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data solutions sector, is seeking an AI Data Engineer 2 to join their dynamic team. As an AI Data Engineer 2, you will be an integral part of the Data Engineering Department supporting the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will enable you to thrive within this innovative environment. Job Title: AI Data Engineer Location: Redmond, WA - Remote Pay Range: $54.01 - $59.43 on Experis W2 (Benefits/401k/PTO) Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each:

  • 2-4 years ADO Development
  • 2-4 years PowerBI Development (DAX experience required)
  • 1-4 year AI Agent development

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO)- and Power BI-based reporting solutions that provide comprehensive visibility into data initiatives.
  • Support data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models to ensure data reliability, scalability, and accessibility for reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting standards, delivery metrics, and portfolio views aligned with organizational goals.
  • Transform complex operational data into clear, actionable dashboards that inform decision-making and governance processes.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance by partnering with engineering and tooling teams to adhere to enterprise standards.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in ADO and Power BI development.
  • Experience with database technologies and knowledge of the ETL process.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, with DAX being preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a demonstrated success in data-driven projects.
