The Field Service Engineer is responsible for Leica microsystems instruments (Mainly Medical microscope) overall field service timely, accurately with professional manners to customers.

This position reports to the Service Manager and is part of the Field service department located in Seoul and will be working remotely to cover domestic Leica customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide high‑quality technical service including repair, installation, preventive maintenance, remote support, training, and more—in a timely, accurate, and professional manners to customers; ensure Demo instruments are fully functional and provide inputs to improve product reliability while delivering feedback to business units and field service teams.
  • Follow Leica’s standard work processes to complete all service tasks, including proper debriefing of field service reports and submission of all required documents in the CRM system; work closely with Sales, Application Specialists, and Service Admin to ensure service quality complies with the agreed SLA.
  • Promote and actively participate in generating service contract opportunities for both internal and external customers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, or a related major, with less than 3 years of experience in relevant (medical) fields;
  • fresh graduates are welcome Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in Korean and intermediate-level English speaking and writing skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • 90% Travel required within Korea
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 22Kg

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Medical instruments field service experience is plus
  • Good English skill is plus
