Senior Consultant, Purchased Services

Summary:

In this role, you will leverage your subject matter expertise and client relationship skills to support the successful delivery of consulting engagements that drive performance improvement for healthcare clients. You will conduct detailed analyses, develop and execute project plans, and deliver key components of client workplans. You will present findings to client vice presidents and senior leaders, lead small projects or workstreams, and contribute to sales and practice development efforts to enhance Advisory Solutions capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analyses to generate strategic insights and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute project plans to ensure timely delivery of engagement milestones and contractual deliverables.
  • Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and discussions with mid- to senior-level leaders.
  • Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and achievement of engagement outcomes.
  • Deliver consulting engagements independently or as part of a project team, including leading defined workstreams.
  • Collaborate with analysts, consulting staff, and cross-functional partners to achieve project objectives.
  • Respond to ad hoc client requests for data analysis, strategy development, and coaching.
  • Support sales and practice development initiatives, including contributing to new product and service enhancements.
  • Monitor engagement budgets and achieve targeted annual client chargeable hours.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in purchased services/support services and/or supply chain within healthcare required.
  • Prior experience coordinating or managing projects with measured results..
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with senior client audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional, complex team environment.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
