[Remote] Distributor Sales Engineer - Low/Medium Voltage Products

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Siemens is a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. They are seeking a Distributor Sales Engineer for the Central and South Texas markets, responsible for driving stock product sales and developing relationships with channel partners to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty
  • Pursue long-term account strategy that maximizes profits
  • May identify, develop and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals
  • Assist in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers
  • Develop a complete understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned account
  • Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings
  • Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels
  • May develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for sales channels
  • Product support to include but not limited to; Residential Products, Safety Switches, IEC/NEMA Control, Panelboards, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, and Motor Control Centers

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly desired, although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related work experience will also be considered
  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Self Starter with strong work ethic and committed to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Travel required 20%
  • Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing
  • Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
  • Power distribution & Controls Product sales experience
  • Knowledge of LV MV power distribution product line
