[Remote] IAM Analyst

The IAM Analyst role is focused on supporting the organization's identity and access management program by managing user accounts and ensuring compliance with security practices.

Responsibilities

• Provision, modify, and de-provision user accounts and access rights across mainframe, cloud, and enterprise systems
• Administer user IDs and access for security tools and applications, following security policies
• Capture and record security event logs related to IAM activities for compliance review
• Review and process access requests with proper approvals and adherence to least privilege principles
• Support internal and external audits by providing evidence of access controls and security logs
• Respond to audit inquiries related to IAM and assist with security improvements to meet regulatory requirements
• Participate in planning and implementing IAM solutions and enhancements
• Communicate with stakeholders to clarify access needs and resolve issues
• Document and maintain IAM operational procedures

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• Experience with IAM tools, user provisioning, and access management in enterprise environments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with audit processes, compliance frameworks, and security best practices
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with mainframe, cloud, or hybrid IAM environments
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA related to IAM
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Identity and Access Manager, or CISSP
