About the position As VP of Total Rewards and People Operations, you will be responsible for supporting and elevating two successful teams that run our Total Rewards and People Operations functions in a growth-oriented organization, ensuring their continued success and development. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a track record of operational acumen and excellence, building and growing high-performing teams and preparing organizations to scale. You will report directly to Aledade’s Chief People Officer (CPO) and be a key member of the People Leadership team. You will be a trusted advisor to teams across Aledade.

Responsibilities

  • Team Oversight and Strategy:
  • Provide overall strategic oversight, guidance, and development for the existing high-performing teams that lead the Total Rewards and People Operations functions, focused on elevating their impact and work.
  • Total Rewards:
  • Designing and operationalizing innovative company-wide, global compensation and benefit strategy and programs.
  • Partnering with the Chief People Officer and external compensation consultants on the strategy, design, and implementation of executive compensation programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to advise on incentive compensation programs.
  • Managing a foundational and scalable job architecture structure including leveling, benchmarking and supporting our company-wide budgeting and forecasting.
  • Provide support and consultation of all compensation/total rewards to executive management across Aledade.
  • Lead the team in the design and management of a comprehensive total well-being strategy that integrates physical, financial, and mental health programs, measuring their impact on employee engagement and productivity.
  • People Operations:
  • Lead/support the People Ops team in shaping the strategy for critical business initiatives and driving the successful execution of business initiatives, including scaling HR Operations (people and process) for overall growth and expansion.
  • Spearhead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of AI/ML technologies to automate routine HR operational processes, significantly enhance HR data quality with our People Analytics leader, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of HR shared services.
  • Champion the integration of AI tools within HR systems (HRIS, Compensation platforms, Talent Analytics) to enable predictive workforce planning, optimize personalized total rewards offerings, and provide deeper insights into employee engagement and turnover.
  • Continued improvement of our overall processes, compliance, and day to day People Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant operations and total rewards experience, including responsibility for managing geographically distributed teams.
  • Proven ability to lead the change management and communication strategy for major compensation and benefits transformations, ensuring clear, empathetic, and effective employee understanding and adoption.
  • Proven success leading total rewards and operations in high growth companies.
  • Strategic thinker for how to utilize systems and optimize processes for best practices.
  • Proficient in setting and managing priorities based on HR systems and overall HR needs.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR systems, operations, compliance and technology.
  • Exhibited consultative style with confirmed experience supporting senior business leaders, including demonstrated ability to lead discussions with senior business leaders.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, project management and operational chops.
