Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in organizing and processing critical information. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing documents to extract relevant data and add it to our FACIS database
• Conducting additional research as necessary, including contacting data authorities for guidance on interpreting documents
• Communicating clearly with management, peers, and stakeholders on processes and data acquisition/transformation
• Articulating data transformation processes effectively
• Taking on additional periodical and/or ad-hoc projects/tasks when necessary
• Working independently with limited oversight, using provided resources to answer questions before seeking assistance
• Meeting quality and efficiency benchmarks
• Completing items within the Data Entry queue

Required Skills/Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A willingness and ability to take ownership and initiative on tasks and projects
• The ability to work as part of a team to provide on-time results
• Quick learning and adaptability, with the ability to adjust priorities throughout the day
• An uncompromising approach to meeting/exceeding pressing deadlines and expectations
• A commitment to doing work right the first time, inspecting work for flaws
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products
• Strong critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail

Education/Experience

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Be at least 18 years of age
• (Preferred) Healthcare industry experience or experience in data entry and comparison
