Experienced Full Stack Customer Service Agent – Airport Operations and Ticketing

If so, we want to hear from you! arenaflex is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Ticket/Gate Agent to join our team at Tucson International Airport. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their entire journey.

Key Responsibilities

As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers, guiding them through the check-in process, and assisting with baggage check-in and boarding
  • Ensuring customers have accurate travel documentation and making gate announcements as needed
  • Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts (up to 70 pounds)
  • Operating loading bridges and opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
  • Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations

Scheduling and Work Environment

Scheduling is based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. Each station is unique, with varying flight schedules. You will work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on your seniority. Our airport operations team is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data

  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
  • Basic digital literacy
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Pass a Customer Service Assessment
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements, such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
