Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Customer Engagement Specialists to join our team as Live Chat Support Agents. As a Live Chat Support Agent, you'll be responsible for handling incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts. These could be support questions from existing customers or sales questions from potential new customers. Key Responsibilities

* Handle incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts

  • Provide top-notch service to customers through diverse mediums like email, live chat, and virtual interactions
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

  • 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center or live chat environment
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop)
  • Availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Experience with live chat software and platforms
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
