Pharma Project Manager

This is a contract position with a 2–3 month evaluation period. During that time, we’ll work with the selected candidate to determine whether the role continues through the end of 2026 and as the client contract renews. We expect the selected candidate to work between 20-30 hours on a weekly average for the period of the contract. We are looking to fill this role immediately. Description: Trellist is seeking an energetic and passionate Project Manager (PM) to support a key pharmaceutical client account. The ideal candidate brings hands-on pharmaceutical industry experience paired with strong client relationship skills and the organizational discipline of a seasoned project manager. In this role, you'll take an active role in developing and managing campaigns for a pharma brand — owning the work, not just supporting it. Candidate requirements:

  • 5+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare experience managing client relationships and projects
  • Experience creating and administering Medical Legal Review (MLR) submissions, ensuring compliance to client submission standards; Veeva highly desirable
  • Ability to become immersed in the projects, take ownership and be proactive in driving project progress amongst multiple stakeholders and team members, with little oversight
  • Know-how to contribute to tactical planning on assigned accounts
  • Ability to form effective partnerships with specialty teams (creative, digital, social, etc.) to meet client needs, clearly communicating project objectives, direction and timing
  • Experience managing comprehensive projects including developing project plans, timelines, project briefs, budget trackers and change logs, routing deliverables for approval, monitoring scope and analyzing financial performance
  • Confidence to partner with other departments to resolve project-level issues and advocate for process improvements
  • Professionalism as a primary point-of-contact for clients, effectively communicating concepts, issues, and project status to stakeholders
  • Adherence to process with the good judgment to be flexible when it makes sense
  • A clear understanding of the importance of managing to a budgeted number of hours and delivering on time, while ensuring client satisfaction, team cohesion, and clear communication, especially when issues arise
  • The drive to establish, articulate, and own the project scope

Candidate nice-to-have qualities (but not limited to):

  • Familiarity with editorial process, referencing and fact-checking
  • Experience managing projects in one or more of the following areas: multi-channel marketing campaigns, technology, web development, e-commerce, branding, and design.
  • Experience managing CRM or e-mail marketing programs and/or other digital or traditional marketing campaigns, search engine optimization projects, social media programs, business analysis, or metrics/data analysis
  • Experience with web content management systems or SharePoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field
