About the role LifeMD is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Procurement Specialist who is comfortable navigating a fast moving environment. The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for project managing all aspects of the procurement process across all of LifeMD’s brands ensuring the delivery of high quality products on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with brand managers to understand and document product requirements and delivery timelines
  • Identify and develop relationships with vendors who can provide products that meet requirements at competitive prices for a wide range of products
  • Manage communications with vendors to ensure on time delivery of products
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and brand managers to ensure appropriate stock levels across all SKUs and distribution locations
  • Liaise with AP and brand managers to ensure purchase orders are executed and invoices are paid in a timely manner
  • Provide COGS analysis and develop strategies to reduce costs
  • Develop and communicate item level inventory analysis
  • Create and maintain regular reporting and provide ad hoc procurement analysis
  • Collaborate with the warehouse to arrange for best way shipping for domestic and international shipments
  • Identify and implement new processes to improve ordering and inventory management
  • On-site inventory management with Pharmacy Partners, requiring periodic travel
  • Willingness to travel to LifeMD Pharmacy Partners for inventory management (both OTC/Rx items)
  • Special projects as needed

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, OR equivalent experience
  • Project management experience
  • Must have the ability to be both direct and diplomatic
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Comfortable building processes from scratch
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Google docs and sheets
  • Experience utilizing Netsuite
  • Experience with pharmaceutical procurement
  • Experience managing domestic and international shipping
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret and apply data
