Job description: , a national consortium of locally-owned and operated tutoring and college advising programs, is seeking SAT and ACT Math Section Specialists to help tutor students in grades 10-12. The SAT or ACT Math Section Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to students preparing for the Math Section of the SAT or ACT exams.
Position: TPAPT Chapter, VA
Role: Test Prep Math Specialist
Classification: Contract (1099)
Seniority: Mid-Senior Level
Compensation: $40/hr-$50hr commensurate
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized lessons for the Math Section of either/both the SAT or the ACT exams.
- Identify individual learning styles and adapt instruction accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving students' test scores.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to achieve their academic goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and/or guardians.
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- You have a curriculum and have planned and delivered SAT or ACT Math lessons online in the past
- Earned Bachelor's degree.
- Demonstrable expertise in the Math Section of either/both the SAT or ACT exam.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Passion for education and desire to help students succeed.
- Tutoring rate: $40/hr-$50/hr
