As a Scrum Master your primary responsibility will be leading and facilitating multiple teams to successfully leverage Lean and Agile to scope, define, and deliver solutions to complex business problems.

You will play a critical role in ensuring effective implementations of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment driven by continuous improvement.

As part of the Program Management Office, you will also bring valuable experience in project management demonstrating fundamental knowledge for planning, setting expectations, and mitigating risks.

What you will be doing

  • Mentor and coach teams in adopting Lean and Agile principles, values, practices, tools, and techniques to successfully achieve objectives while maintaining a continuous focus on quality, value, and sustainability.
  • Support teams in their continuous improvement efforts by helping them identify issues and implementing appropriate solutions, guiding them in the removal of impediments.
  • Ensure Scrum and SAFe events take place and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, continuous learning, and self-organization.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to prioritize and refine Product Backlogs, assessing and managing dependencies across several teams as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge for designing, planning, estimating, scoping, setting expectations, testing, and implementing solutions with limited risk.
  • Contribute to the advancement of PMO (Program Management Office) by evaluating and implementing best-of-breed approaches for the execution of project objectives.
  • Apply practical knowledge of the software development lifecycle to better serve teams and the organization.
  • Present complex topics to varying levels across the organization and may be accountable for other results and activities as assigned

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach for cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Technical background related to software development is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience working with Scrum and applying Lean and Agile to different scenarios. Understanding and experience with Kanban and SAFe are preferred.
  • Exceptional mentoring and coaching abilities to guide teams and individuals with a strong focus on continuous improvement and ability to handle multiple teams and inputs simultaneously by efficiently prioritizing assignments, completing them with high-quality standards and on time.
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with XP, other scaled Agile frameworks, such as Nexus, Scrum@Scale, or LeSS, and other management approaches, such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Design Thinking, is also desirable.
