Job Summary

The Salesforce Specialist connects with the Systems and Sales Teams, collaborating with Fulfillment, Warehouse, and Distribution to support revenue growth. Responsibilities include maintaining Salesforce functionality and providing front-line support and customer service nationwide on a technical basis. They are also the configurator of the system and should handle permission setup and requests. In addition, the Salesforce Specialist plays a crucial role in troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring data accuracy within the Salesforce platform. This position works closely with users to train them on new features and updates and regularly monitors system performance to optimize workflow efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Help deploy Salesforce in new markets.
  • Create and maintain documentation of our Salesforce solution.
  • Maintain the Salesforce environment.
  • Handle administrative and configuration tasks in Salesforce.
  • Salesforce ticket triage and fixes.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce analytics.
  • Collaborate with our Salesforce developers and assist in providing new solutions to the company.
  • Work with our ERP team to develop new ways to integrate and solve business needs. 

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Should be able to collaborate and work seamlessly with both systems and the various business units, especially Sales.
  • Knowledge of CRM and ERP tools.
  • Working knowledge of Fulfillment, Distribution, Warehouse, and Sales functions.
  • Project Management Experience.
  • Ability to work and gather requirements independently.
  • Create detailed documentation of new and existing functionality.
  • Prior Salesforce Admin training.
  • Must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Business, Computer Science).
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting internal and external clients.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience working with Salesforce.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods.
  • Ability to routinely use a computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds (such as sample materials, documentation boxes, or small equipment).
  • Ability to frequently move within office and production environments, including walking on production floors, navigating stairs, and working around equipment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in production areas, as applicable.

Work Schedule (Exempt)

This is a full-time, exempt position. The role requires the flexibility to work on the hours necessary to meet business needs, which may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Work schedules and expectations may be adjusted based on operational priorities and organizational demands.
