As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service / Sales Representative, you'll be the central point of contact for our customers and the internal sales team, managing a variety of tasks crucial to maintaining smooth customer service and sales operations.

Job Summary

As a Central Processor, you'll be responsible for managing and responding to emails, answering and handling incoming phone calls, running multiple reports, gathering necessary information and documents to create customer orders, and creating detailed work orders. You'll also perform regular follow-ups with customers and team members, maintain accurate records and databases, and work effectively both in a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and respond to emails throughout the day

  • Answer and handle incoming phone calls
  • Run multiple reports as needed
  • Gather necessary information and documents to create customer orders
  • Create detailed work orders, including:

+ Entering material and labor line items + Typing out precise installation instructions

  • Perform regular follow-ups with customers and team members
  • Maintain accurate records and databases

Essential Qualifications

* Typing speed of at least 40 WPM

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work setting
  • Professional demeanor in all forms of communication
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • High-level problem-solving capabilities
  • Leadership qualities, including a sense of urgency and initiative
  • Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently
  • Capability to complete tasks within specified timeframes

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service or sales

  • Knowledge of flooring services and products
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a remote setting with minimal supervision
