You will be responsible for executing QA for designing exercises and QC for creation/producing support, as well as planning and executing surveys of testing exercises for advancement and conformance. Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing QA for designing exercises and QC for creation/producing support
  • Planning and executing surveys of testing exercises for advancement and conformance
  • Fostering itemized test plans for all phases of product testing
  • Fostering test methodology, experiments, survey results
  • Participating in Bill of Process evaluations, CTS, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, CTR, etc.
  • Providing investigation from tests led and verifiable information
  • Creating, maintaining, and improving specialized records and formats
  • Making test advancement timetables and test execution plans
  • Researching test failures through data analysis and risk of failure in the field
  • Supporting warranty claims for internal data
  • Identifying and evaluating potential risks in design/production that could impact customer quality
  • Collaborating with the design team, quality department, manufacturing, and production
  • Performing capability studies, gage R&R
  • Driving investigation procedures and planning quality records
  • QA during product development/Research and development QC support during manufacturing and production
  • Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and other quality approval processes
  • Auditing and execution of customer requirements SOR or Specialized particulars/prerequisites
  • Coordinating design and pre-production constructs

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in QA/QC, approval, testing, product development
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001)
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma
  • Experience with product development and testing
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)
