Position description The UCLA Department of History seeks applicants for a pool of qualified lecturers to teach lower and upper division undergraduate courses in various fields of history, should an opening arise. Screening of applicants is ongoing; the number of positions varies by quarter. The department invites candidates to apply who are qualified to teach the following potential courses in the history of Latin America:

• HIST 187E: Variable Topics Historiography Proseminar: Latin America

The department is particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with students from a diverse background and a demonstrated commitment to improving access to higher education for disadvantaged students.
