DESCRIPTIONThe BI Developer II is a key contributor to cutting edge analytic work that spans the broad spectrum of healthcare data projects at HSAG. For the vast majority of projects, the visual analytic component will be based on Tableau and Amazon QuickSight platforms. Data that will be incorporated into dashboards by the BI Developer II include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a quantitative discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience building visualization solutions using Tableau, Amazon QuickSight, and Power BI.
- At least three (3) years of experience with ETL processes in a Microsoft SQL server environment.
- At least three (3) years of data warehousing experience.
- Experience gathering and refining requirements, interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements is required.
- Strong attention to detail, documenting business and technical requirement based on user interviews is required.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS is preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare data is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle several projects simultaneously and work with multiple teams.
