Byrd Campbell P.A. a well-respected national firm with offices in Winter Park, Pensacola, Boston and Dallas, specializing in Commercial Real Estate and Complex Business Litigation, has an opportunity for an experienced paralegal for our Real Estate department, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with high profile clients, and handling many complex matters simultaneously. The position is based in the Firm’s Winter Park, FL office, however the ability to work fully remotely is possible.

Paralegals are a vital part of our team and a tremendous resource for our attorneys. We need a paralegal with the experience to actively assist with all aspects of the job, while consistently producing superior results, even under tight deadlines, pressure and an ever-changing environment.

The Paralegal role would entail assisting attorneys with major commercial real estate transactions, including the review of title, survey, and other due diligence, curative resolutions to title issues, organization of pre and post-closing documents, management of transactions and closings, preparation of closing statements and checklists, as well as assistance with other aspects of the transactions, including contract review, lease review, title objection letters, and entity formations.

Candidates must be able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and initiatives with minimal oversight while being extremely organized and efficient with strong follow-through and accountability.

Your Education and Experience

Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ABA Paralegal Certification highly preferred, however, incredible experience and professional competency is acceptable in lieu of education. We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of Real Estate Paralegal experience in a similar environment, but we can work with less if you’re the right person. Of course, more is just fine with us too.
