Our best tutors should enjoy motivating and inspiring students to be the best that they can be The Goal is Mutual Engagement Job Overview: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, General Homework and Test Prep RESPONSIBILITIES

• Get to know the student and employ creative ways to teach and engage the him/her.
• Ability to empathize with student and show ways (tips, tricks, strategies) to overcome "Fear of Math".
• Use Tutor Doctor Platform to plan create lessons plans and post-session reports for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session
• Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student
• Successfully and professionally teach students to fit their individual needs
• Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests
• Follow-up with office when a student?s enrollment package is low on hours
• Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred
• Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus
• Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry
• Be able to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan)
• Having a personality that is suited for different types of students
• Strong administration skills
• Strong typing, PC and recording skills
• Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must
• Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone

ABOUT OUR STUDENT Focus on grade appropriate math and homework assistance once a week. Student is positive, has great energy, not shy to speak and share her thoughts once comfortable. Looking for tutor who is patient creative, assertive and can keep it interested and challenging. One sixty minute session per week.
