Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing courteous and efficient customer support via phone, email, and chat during the busy tax season
  • Answering questions regarding tax filing, products, services, and account information
  • Assisting customers in troubleshooting issues related to their tax filings or software
  • Documenting and tracking customer interactions and issues in our support system
  • Meeting performance targets related to customer satisfaction, response time, and first-call resolution
  • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude even during high-demand periods

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Reliability and dependability, especially during high-demand periods leading up to and after Tax Day
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote work environment
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to stay calm and collected when dealing with customers who may be experiencing stress
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to commit to working during the tax season peak periods (February through April)
