Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Medical Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional phone support, assisting patients effectively, and resolving complex issues with ease. If you have a background in healthcare, experience working in a call center, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Medical Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional phone support: Handle calls from hospitals about billing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assisting patients effectively: Clarify patient questions and ensure they receive the information they need.
  • Problem-solving champion: Work through issues by pinpointing the root cause, researching solutions, implementing the best option, and escalating unresolved matters when necessary.
  • Data entry specialist: Maintain accurate patient records by inputting information into the hospital's computer system.
  • Connects callers seamlessly: Routes incoming calls to the most suitable person within the company.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Epic Software experience highly preferred
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Must have worked in a call center and experience in Medical Claims and/or Insurance
  • Ability to undergo a criminal background check, Prove ownership of a High School Diploma, GED or Transcripts and complete a drug screen testing (testing for THC as well).
  • Have High Speed Internet with a minimal of 50 Mbps Download/20 Mbps Upload Speed - Must be able to hard wire via Ethernet cable.
  • Ability to work from home in a quiet setting with no others within earshot, due to HIPAA compliance, including a workspace to accommodate two monitors and a computer.
