Full-Time Companion/Caregiver/CNA for Private Household Location: Primary home in Ocean Ridge, FL with travel north during the summer monthsWe are seeking a kind, sensible, and professional Companion/Caregiver to provide respectful and considerate support to a lovely and intelligent matriarch in her private residences.The role is ideal for someone with deep empathy, high integrity, and a calm, confident demeanor. This is a long-term opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of someone who values privacy, peace, and excellent care.The well-established household team includes a Houseman, additional Caregiver, rotating night nurses, and weekly Housekeepers at each location.Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and gentle support throughout the day
- Assist with personal care including light dressing support and shower monitoring
- Drive and accompany principal to social events, medical appointments, and errands
- Meticulously manage medication schedules and coordinate with medical providers
- Use sound judgement to minimize risk
- Weekly reporting to family members; immediate updates for urgent concerns
- Schedule rotating nurses, coordinate with other caregivers, and manage appointments
- Coordinate with the household team
- Handle light administrative tasks and liaise with vendors and service providers
- Assist with general upkeep of residence on non-housekeeper days
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel preparation
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Simple, light meal preparation, serving, and cleanup
- Assist with pet care for two small dogs
- Handle messages, deliveries, and errands in a courteous and professional manner
- Warm, mature, with a nurturing nature
- A private home care professional who understands discretion and boundaries
- Strong preference for an experienced CNA or Nurse
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- A team player who communicates well and supports the broader household staff
- Flexible and dependable, with a genuine desire to help
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication
- COVID-19 vaccinated (or valid medical/religious exemption)
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and pass a post-offer physical
- Valid driver's license and a safe driver (insurable)
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Generally, four 12-hour shifts per week. Days to be determined with you and the current team.
- Annual base salary of $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience. (If your salary request is outside the range, please explain in a brief cover letter).

- When traveling in the summer months, housing is provided on site (private bedroom/bathroom).
- Private travel to the other residences is with the principal and her two small dogs
