Talent Acquisition Specialist

Cimarron is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support a new and exciting division within Cimarron. This position will work as part of a team to assist in the aggressive sourcing, identifying, and recruiting of qualified candidates for current job openings.  While our headquarters is in Houston, TX candidates can be located anywhere in the United States as this is a remote work opportunity.  Key Duties:

  • Manage candidate flow and all aspects of the recruiting process (sourcing and qualifying candidates, salary negotiation, offer letters, relocation, etc.).
  • Work with hiring managers to understand job competencies and recruiting requirements for open positions.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews, arrange interviews with hiring managers, and coordinate offers with hiring managers.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with writing requisitions and advertising job opportunities as needed. 

Required Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time. 
  • 1 or more years of recruiting experience including, but not limited to: sourcing, pre-screening, assessing, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
  • Experience with social media networking sites and recruiting tools.
  • In-depth experience writing and utilizing Boolean search strings.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience writing/posting requisitions.
  • Experience and willingness to cold-call candidates as needed.
  • Experience recruiting candidates in technology-related positions within the defense and/or aerospace industry.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, time management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • High degree of integrity and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related area, or Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study such as Computer Science or Engineering.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) concepts and tools, with the ability to use AI-driven solutions (e.g., generative AI platforms) to support day-to-day tasks and improve efficiency.
