Job Description

Support the accounting department and perform various duties such as maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, and reconciling accounts. Learning to use professional concepts. General knowledge of core elements or concepts within their role. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

Core Job Duties

  • Perform month-end close functions for any assigned subsidiary, including month-end journal entries, accrued and/or prepaid account analysis, and variance analysis to prior periods.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Perform assigned bank reconciliations.
  • Perform various revenue uploads between the billing system, bank, and general ledger.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to update processes, creating efficiencies within the monthly accounting cycle.
  • Perform various and frequent ad hoc projects and any analysis as requested by management team.
  • Support Projects and Acquisitions accounting team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years accounting experience preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Possess an inquisitive attitude, seeking to understand the broad business picture
  • Demonstrate understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
  • Highly motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills; candidate will interact with all levels of the
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
