Seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Agile methodologies, Jira, and experience in managing data warehouse implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business/technical requirements for data warehouse solutions.
  • Analyze and define business needs, and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and data analysis to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Serve as the Scrum Master for the Data Warehouse Implementation project, overseeing sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
  • Organize and facilitate daily standups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Ensure Agile best practices are followed and promote a collaborative environment among cross-functional teams.
  • Track progress, manage Jira boards, and ensure timely completion of tasks in accordance with sprint goals.
  • Remove roadblocks and assist the team in maintaining momentum and delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers to design and implement scalable data warehouse solutions, leveraging Databricks and other modern tools.
  • Monitor progress on the implementation of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data transformation tasks within the Data Warehouse.
  • Use Jira to track tasks, user stories, epics, and overall sprint progress.
  • Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and dashboards to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain project timelines, risks, and issues in conjunction with project managers. · Promote the adoption of best practices and encourage continuous learning and development.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of professional experience in business analysis, including 3+ years in Agile environments.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator, managing sprints and leading Agile teams.
  • Experience working on Data Warehouse projects, specifically related to ETL processes, data pipelines, and reporting.
  • Strong background in working with business intelligence and analytics teams to translate requirements into actionable technical tasks.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with deep expertise in tools like Jira, Confluence.

Preferred Skills

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and evolving project requirements.
