Designer - 6 month FTC
DEPT® is a Growth Invention company that helps ambitious brands grow faster through innovative technology and marketing solutions. The Designer role involves creating engaging designs and collaborating with a team to deliver high-quality digital communications that meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Working on a brief from start to finish
- Contributing with innovative ideas at creative briefs
- Creating high-quality design work
- Image sourcing and digital artworking
- AI prompting and image generation
- Designing responsive, customer-centric emails (and more!)
- Always striving to create work that contributes to client's business goals
- Staying current with design and marketing trends
- Learn and grow from constructive feedback
- Being able to mentor more junior members of the team
- Taking accountability for flawless design output
- Delivering work on time and within the scheduled timeframes
- Designing small animations (simple GIFs) for digital assets
Skills
- Digital design experience on industry standard design frameworks like Figma and Photoshop
- Self driven and resourceful
- Good eye for layout, skilled in typesetting and retouching
- A great teammate that supports their colleagues and doesn't act as an individual
- Very organised with attention to detail
- Has a desire to embrace new skills and challenges
- Experience with Weavy.ai or other node-based AI systems a plus
