Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team as a FEMA Support Specialist. In this role, you'll work on a project basis, providing exceptional support to clients in need of disaster relief services. As a FEMA Support Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution. - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of FEMA policies, procedures, and regulations. - Stay up-to-date on industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes. - Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure satisfaction. - Utilize CRM software to track client interactions, update records, and analyze data to improve service delivery. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge. - Meet or exceed performance metrics, including response times, resolution rates, and client satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a project-based or call center environment. - Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a strong focus on issue resolution and client satisfaction. - Strong understanding of FEMA policies, procedures, and regulations. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Proficiency in CRM software, with experience in data analysis and reporting. - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment. - Familiarity with disaster relief services, including FEMA programs and policies. - Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCEP). - Experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
