The Opportunity

As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you'll have the unique opportunity to grow your career by connecting your customer service and sales aptitude to become a Remote Licensed Healthcare Insurance Agent. arenaflex will provide you with the training, support, and resources you need to succeed, including:

  • FREE licensing course and study materials
  • All state licensing exam fees covered by arenaflex
  • Yearly renewal of license provided by arenaflex as your employer
  • A base wage of $16/hr while studying for your state exam, with an increase to your base pay and eligibility for performance-based bonuses once you're licensed

What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting individuals in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products, services, and best solutions to meet their personal needs
  • Providing full lifecycle customer service and sales, including inbound and outbound calls
  • Responding to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening, and selecting the best solution in an efficient manner
  • Identifying additional needs customers may have and helping them to upgrade products or services

What You Bring to the Role

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Aptitude, self-discipline, and tenacity to learn about what it takes to become a licensed insurance associate, including passing the state licensing exam
  • High-speed internet (>25 mbps download and 10 mbps upload)
  • Minimum six (6) months sales experience
  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy
  • Strong customer service orientation, including empathy, compassion, and listening skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer navigation skills and experience, as this role is 100% remote

Reporting and Success Metrics

You'll report to a Team Lead and contribute to the success of the customer experience and the overall success of the team. Your performance will be measured by key performance indicators, including customer satisfaction, sales performance, and quality metrics.
