Key Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality customer service through online chat, addressing guests' inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Actively listening to customers' concerns and needs, demonstrating empathy and understanding to ensure their expectations are exceeded
  • Managing multiple chat conversations concurrently while maintaining excellent service quality and attention to detail
  • Accurately documenting customer interactions and transactions, ensuring information is entered correctly into the system for record-keeping and follow-up purposes
  • Collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve issues and provide accurate information to customers regarding hotel services, reservations, promotions, and events

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a background in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not required
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely in a chat format
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or chat software is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet performance objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrating resilience and a solution-oriented approach to challenges
