JOB DESCRIPTION
Your appointment as Accounts Receivable Clerk shall be on a full time basis. As Accounts Receivable Clerk you shall perform the following functions:
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily review of bank activity to identify incoming payments
• Daily reception of checks scanned reports from various offices (maintaining a checklist to ensure all reports are received each day)
• Retaining documentation on receipts received and application of receipts as appropriate and as deemed by process
• Apply payment against related receivable or elevate to Senior Accountant for recording in system
• Investigate returned payments with internal related party or external client as required or deemed appropriate
• Ad hoc request as they relate to payment receipts
Qualifications:
- Strong computer/office skills (word, excel, internet, understanding of a file structure).
- Willingness and ability to learn financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Intacct, CCH Axcess).
- Problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Team player
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
