Radio Systems Design & Integration Technical Lead

Position Overview

This role supports the design, planning, and deployment of Radio systems across data center projects. The position focuses on maintaining and standardizing technical specifications, integrating Radio requirements into project documentation, and assisting with engineering bulletins for scalable, site‑agnostic solutions. Serving as a key liaison between general contractors, radio vendors, and internal teams, this position ensures smooth installation, compliance, and technical accuracy across all project phases.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Travel up to 30% - mostly US-based, with the potential for some travel out of the country

Program Governance & Standardization

• Work under the supervision of regional Design & Delivery FTE lead, and complete the tasks related to Radio, as assigned.

• Support the revision and maintenance of current Radio design standards and

• technical specifications.

• Facilitate the integration of Radio requirements into the POR package to ensure

• standardized inclusion across all projects.

• Assist in the development of Engineering Bulletins (EB) for site-agnostic designs.

Site-Specific Design & Planning

• Initiate comprehensive site assessments, in partnership with the Construction team, at the kickoff of new data center projects.

• Conduct country-level assessments to identify local licensing requirements and

• regulatory constraints.

• Review the site-specific IFC (Issued for Construction) packages and Bills of Materials (BOM) prepared by the Radio vendor.

• Review technical approvals for all design specifications.

Deployment & Installation Management

• Construction administration support during installation, including shop drawing and

product submittal review and RFI response review assistance.

• Be the escalation point of contact between the General Contractor (GC), Radio Vendors, and other stakeholders regarding physical infrastructure and cabling

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in systems design and project management in large-scale construction environments required

• 2-way radio and/or DAS experience desired

• RF design experience desired

Licenses, Certifications

• Driver’s license for required travel

• Valid passport for potential travel out of the country

• RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification is desired
