We’re a 125-person EdTech scale-up powering learning in 120+ countries. Our intelligent platform replaces traditional textbooks and combines rich, interactive pedagogy with smart AI and data to help students and teachers thrive, from international schools to US high schools.

Why join Kognity?

⚡ High ownership, high expectations – You are trusted to take initiative, make decisions and drive outcomes. Responsibility comes early, accountability is real, and results matter.

A fast-moving, high-performing team – You will work with smart, driven colleagues across the globe on complex problems. Standards and expectations are high, feedback is direct, and the pace is fast.

Continuous growth is the baseline – Everyone is expected and supported to learn quickly, improve constantly and raise their own bar. If you enjoy responsibility, momentum and meaningful challenge, you will thrive here.

The Role

You will own and build AI workflow systems for media (images, animation, interactive media) production, shaping how educational content is created and delivered at Kognity. You will turn fragmented processes into production-ready systems with clear impact on day-to-day media production. This is a role for someone who wants to combine a strong creative eye for high-quality media with the challenge of building scalable, AI-driven systems that bring that vision to life.

What you’ll do

  • Design and build end-to-end AI-driven media workflows, enabling consistent and repeatable production without manual intervention

  • Translate creative and pedagogical intent into structured pipelines, ensuring outputs align with instructional and content goals

  • Embed evaluation logic and quality gates into workflows, resulting in reliable, first-pass outputs with minimal rework

  • Optimise, troubleshoot, and scale workflows, improving performance, reliability, and turnaround times as production demands grow

  • Own operational media processes including asset management and supplier coordination, ensuring smooth delivery and predictable production planning

What we’re looking for

Experience that drives impact:

  • Proven experience designing and owning end-to-end AI workflow systems (e.g. n8n, APIs, structured prompting)

  • Advanced AI systems fluency, including troubleshooting, optimisation, and scaling beyond pilot workflows

  • Strong hands-on multimedia (graphic design, video production, animation, or interactive media) production experience, translating creative intent into structured high-quality outputs

  • Experience implementing evaluation logic, guardrails, or rubric-based systems within production workflows

Ways of working:

  • You take ownership and drive projects with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset

  • You align stakeholders effectively and communicate clearly across teams

  • You work proactively and independently, moving fast without over-optimising for perfection

  • You are passionate about AI and continuously experiment with new tools to enhance creativity, decisions, and execution.

Our Values

  • We take ownership

  • We leverage AI

  • We drive customer value

  • We are transparent

  • We take care of ourselves and each other

Benefits

  • Work remotely within Sweden

  • ITP Pension Plan with Nordnet

  • Yearly budget of 5,000 SEK to spend on health-related services.

  • 30 days of paid vacation every year

  • Full pay sick leave starting on day 1
