SUMMARY

The Marketing Intern supports the marketing team with planning, executing, and tracking marketing programs, in support of corporate and local strategies that support the business and deliver on excellent team and patient experiences. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, is a critical thinker, and strong team collaborator. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to work across various marketing channels, gaining experience in print and digital collateral development, email, social, event promotion, and special projects. As such, the Marketing Intern is a key contributor to the marketing team, supporting one of the largest premier dermatology practices in the U.S.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Support and Promotional Development

  • Support and execute marketing tactics with guidance from marketing team members.
  • Contribute to collaborative efforts and organize promotional events.
  • Create, edit, and proof original copy and collateral that is accurate, well-researched, and meets company needs and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Design and Content teams to create advertising material (e.g., brochures, rack cards, flyers, invitations, newsletters, etc.).
  • Research, write, and edit content for collateral, email marketing, and social media as needed for key business categories.
  • Edit and proofread copy.
  • Collaborate with marketing team, designers, IT, and other internal teams on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g., email campaigns, web content, and print media).
  • Manage daily administrative tasks as needed to ensure the Marketing Department runs smoothly.
  • Develop and support strategies for monitoring and improving the customer experience.

Research & Reporting

  • Provide all relevant information to vendors as needed to complete projects on time with accurate information.
  • Gather and analyze consumer behavior data to inform campaign strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
  • Analyze and report on competitor go-to-market strategies.
  • Maintain and update records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns.
  • Share weekly report on key initiatives, project updates, and campaign results.
