Job title: TCH - Elementary 4th Grade Teacher Company: Adams County School District 14 Job description: As a teacher in an Innovation Community School, you will work collaboratively with teaching staff, school administrators, district administrators, and community partners to create a school environment that ensures the success of each student. Central educators will be hyper focused on reviewing student work and understanding grade-level standards to ensure that each student can access and achieve grade-level mastery of standards. As a Dual Language school, educators understand the importance of Culturally Responsive Education and the importance of a student?s home language when planning for instruction and building relationships with students and families. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess or qualify for Colorado teaching certificate/license with an elementary education endorsement. Must possess knowledge of cultural diversity and Dual Language education CLDE endorsement preferred. Desire bilingual ability to read and write in both English and Spanish. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and student affective development. Plan for grade level, standards based instruction by evaluating assessments, reviewing student work and collaborating with team members. Create daily lesson plans that approach the standards in a rigorous manner and support students through differentiated instruction. Ensure that language learners can access content and grow in language development. Create a classroom environment that supports the learning and wellbeing of all students. Work collaboratively with colleagues, academic support partners, and administrators to create school-wide systems that support student character development, student social-emotional learning, and common academic expectations. Partner with parents to ensure the academic success of all students. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Well versed in the Science of Reading Explicit knowledge of literacy development for English Language Learners.
