Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dental Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Pacific or Eastern Time Zone. As a Dental Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex and play a critical role in impacting members' service experience by manner of how customer service inquiries and problems are resolved via telephone. You will engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources to help guide them along a clear path to care.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via telephone in a timely and professional manner

  • Engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources
  • Answer questions and resolve issues based on phone calls from members, providers, and plan sponsors
  • Triage resulting rework to appropriate staff
  • Document and track contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors
  • Guide members through their plan of benefits, arenaflex policy, and procedures, as well as having knowledge of resources to comply with any regulatory guidelines
  • Create an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging the member to the fullest to champion for our members' best health
  • Take accountability to fully understand the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide related information to answer unasked questions
  • Use customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues
  • Explain member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract
  • Educate providers on our self-service options
  • Advocate for the member to take them out of the middle, resolving billing conflicts

Essential Qualifications

* Customer Service experience in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate

  • Experience in a production environment
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and members

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment

  • Knowledge of dental plans and benefits
  • Experience with customer service software and systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills

* Competitive hourly rate: $17.00 - $28.46
