Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative – Union Benefits Specialist, you will play a critical role in educating union members about the benefits available to them through their affiliation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns related to our benefits offerings. You will also have the opportunity to upsell additional benefits to interested customers, but only if they express a desire to do so. We're looking for a self-motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to union members, answering questions and addressing concerns related to our benefits offerings

  • Educate union members about the benefits available to them through their affiliation
  • Upsell additional benefits to interested customers, but only if they express a desire to do so
  • Build strong relationships with union members and associations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure that our benefits offerings remain competitive

Requirements for Consideration

* Flexible hours

  • Fluent in English (Bilingual in any language is a plus but not required)
  • MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with labor unions or associations

  • Knowledge of benefits and insurance products
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual in any language
