As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Proofreader to join our remote team and ensure the quality and consistency of written materials across the organization.

Position Overview

The Proofreader will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong language skills, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced remote environment.

This is a full-time remote position based in the United States, offering stability, structured workflows, and long-term growth potential.

Location

Remote – United States (Full-Time | U.S. Work Authorization Required)

Key Responsibilities • Review and proofread documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors • Ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to company writing standards • Edit content for readability and professional tone • Verify accuracy of information and correct inconsistencies • Maintain document formatting and structure across various materials • Collaborate with internal teams to refine written communications • Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards • Support administrative and documentation-related tasks as needed

Qualifications • Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or content review preferred • Exceptional command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago, or internal standards) preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and editing tools • Strong organizational and time management skills • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field preferred

Compensation

Hourly Pay: $26.00 – $36.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Employment Type: Full-Time | Remote
