About the Role As a Manager in the Corporate Development & Strategy team, you will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of BetMGM's growth strategy, both organic and inorganic. You will provide insights and recommendations to the team members and other key stakeholders based on research and analysis of the industry, as well as detailed due diligence of potential opportunities. Responsibilities Build comprehensive business cases to evaluate both internal and external initiatives that help drive decision making. Work closely with internal stakeholders to support the development and execution of BetMGM's growth strategy, which includes identifying key opportunities and threats to the business, defining and protecting the company's competitive advantages, and evaluating competitive dynamics within the industry. Collaborate with teams across the BetMGM organization (e. g. , Marketing, Product, Customer Operations) on critical projects as needed. Assist in the preparation of materials for key shareholders, including executive business reviews, board meetings, and investor events (i. e. , public earnings calls and presentations). Steward the annual strategic & financial planning process in partnership with the Finance, HR, and Commercial departments, amongst others Build and sustain relationships across all lines of business to promote alignment to our corporate strategy. Track market share performance of BetMGM and key competitors across all jurisdictions and regularly report to internal stakeholders. Maintain a database of comparable transactions in the market and regularly report relevant industry news to internal stakeholders and board members. Assist with all aspects of the company's inorganic strategy including conducting market research, identifying potential targets, analyzing risks and opportunities, comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis, due-diligence, transaction negotiation, coordination of all internal and external transaction constituencies, and facilitating post-close integration. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity, or corporate development roles. Entrepreneurial, proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions, and areas to add value Proven experience in business, industry and due diligence and an ability to present those finding in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. Deep experience with financial modeling and various valuation methodologies. Experience creating executive-level presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Experience working with high growth technology and / or media companies strongly preferred. Gaming industry knowledge not required but a plus. Willingness and ability to learn the nuances of a new, highly regulated industry and become rapidly acquainted with the competitive landscape. Superior project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage numerous projects with competing timelines. Highly organized with superior attention to detail. Comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Results-driven and able to strike the right balance between detail-focused and grasping the big picture. Exceptional problem-solving skills, hypothesis driven with the ability to independently evaluate opportunities, conduct analysis, and make innovative strategic recommendations The annual salary range for this position is $119,520 to $156,870. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan. Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.
