Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat channels that leaves customers feeling noticed and taken care of personally
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints effectively and efficiently, with a sense of empathy
  • Handling call intake in accordance with customer service policies
  • Assisting customers with technical issues and troubleshooting any internet-related problems
  • Educating customers on our products and services, and making recommendations to improve their internet experience through inside sales
  • Processing customer orders and cancellations for inbound sales, and updating customer account information at each interaction
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve complex customer issues and escalating unresolved issues to higher authorities when necessary
  • Meeting or exceeding customer service goals and targets, including response time, customer satisfaction, and first-call resolution rate
  • Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge and technical information

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in customer service, with a preference for the telecommunications industry
  • Proven track record of connecting with customers and producing exceptional satisfaction scores
  • Strong knowledge of the fiber internet market and technology trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to learn new technical skills quickly
  • Customer-focused and committed to providing exceptional service
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM or billing systems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Knowledge of internet service providers (ISPs) and their products and services
  • Familiarity with technical troubleshooting and repair procedures
  • Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
