Responsibilities

As a Hybrid Airport Agent - Ramp and Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding and directing incoming and outgoing aircraft at the airport on the taxiway to ensure safe and on-time departures
  • Loading, unloading, sorting, and transferring passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials on the ramp, weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to facilitate the movement of aircraft and baggage
  • Collaborating with the internal team to ensure safe and efficient airport operations
  • Providing exceptional customer service by greeting passengers, processing check-ins and ticketing, and resolving issues in a timely and friendly manner
  • Utilizing reservation and ticketing software to rebook itineraries, issue boarding passes, and calculate fees
  • Communicating with passengers to inform them of their trip details and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Working in the Baggage Service Office to track the location of baggage and handle passenger inquiries
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including cleaning aircraft interiors and lavatories

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum age of 18
  • A high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • A valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license (some license restrictions may prohibit consideration for this role)
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off
  • Flexibility to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary
  • Physical ability to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
