Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Inbound and outbound calls to provide exceptional customer service experiences
  • Managing customer accounts and providing technical support
  • Application data entry and online chat inquiries as assigned
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
  • Creative problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates
  • Time and task management, including multitasking and task prioritization
  • Extensive self-study, training, and testing to ensure eligibility for certifications
  • Adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills
  • High level of comfort learning new technology
  • High level of professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working from home and self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

While not required, previous experience in customer support or technical support roles, as well as familiarity with CRM systems and practices, would be beneficial. Additionally, experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act, would be a plus.
