Key Responsibilities

As a Cargo Agent, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Processing cargo shipments, including handling, loading, and unloading cargo, as well as preparing and submitting necessary documentation
• Maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Collaborating with other teams, including operations, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless cargo operations
• Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States
• A valid driver's license
• Basic digital literacy
• Ability to frequently lift tools, supplies, or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
• Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE

• Previous cargo freight and warehouse operations experience
• Typing/computer skills
