Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate dental claims to insurance companies or government programs.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for dental services.
  • Process claims for reimbursement and ensure timely follow-up on denied or unpaid claims.
  • Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile billing statements.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies, rejections, or denials.
  • Assist patients with billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and billing standards (e.g., HIPAA, ICD-10, CPT).
  • Maintain detailed records of billing activities and update patient billing information regularly.

Essential Skills

  • Strong knowledge of dental billing and coding, including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
  • Familiarity with dental billing software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for resolving claim issues and payment discrepancies.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare privacy laws, such as HIPAA.

Salary Range: PHP 30,000 - 65,000 per month
