Job Summary

As a part-time data engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems that support our analytics and business intelligence capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain large-scale data processing systems using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Develop and implement data pipelines using tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data visualizations and reporting tools
• Develop and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new technologies and approaches to the team

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based technologies and big data processing
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or C++
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink
• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based technologies and big data processing
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on data-driven applications
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
