We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Distributed Systems Engineer to join our Data Platform team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable, high-performance distributed systems that power our data-driven applications. You'll work closely with our engineering teams to architect and implement solutions that meet the needs of our business, while ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our systems.Focus Areas:
Our Data Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our data-driven applications. We're looking for a talented engineer who can contribute to the following focus areas:- Database Access Stage: We're building a flexible query engine that enables our microservices to store, consume, and manage their data efficiently. This team is responsible for designing and implementing the database access stage, which must operate at sub-millisecond latencies.
- Information Stage Foundation: Our Information Stage Foundation team provides a platform for our own data platforms. We're building a common framework and tooling that enables us to rapidly develop and deploy cutting-edge data and analytics platforms without customizing each new platform.
- Big Data Figure: We're responsible for building the cloud-native stage for distributed data processing at arenaflex. This team is critical to batch data processing in Information Stage and provides support for Flash, ETL, and Druid.
- Big Data Arrangement: We're building a platform for planning, organizing, and executing large data jobs and workflows in a self-serve manner. These stages include basic services that have all ETL and ML responsibilities running on Big Data Frameworks at arenaflex.
About You
We're looking for a talented engineer who has:- 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications.
- Strong skills in designing and developing scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Ability to work with multiple technologies and frameworks.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field.
