Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Agent - Airport Operations, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to passengers and airline staff
  • Handling baggage and cargo, including loading, unloading, and transporting to and from aircraft
  • Safely operating ground equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors
  • Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage
  • Maintaining a safe and secure working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth airport operations
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Work Environment and Culture

As an Experienced Customer Service Agent - Airport Operations, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with passengers, airline staff, and other airport personnel. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including early morning, evening, and overnight shifts, as well as weekends and holidays. Our airport operations are based on a 24/7 schedule, and you will be expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. What You Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in English
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements, such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
