CORPORATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY FINANCE FOCUS Open to Multiple Locations...full list found at the bottom of this description HYBRID - 3 days/week in office A leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its sophisticated Corporate Practice Group, focusing on finance and corporate lending matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions for financial institutions, private credit lenders, borrowers, and other corporate clients, including loan originations, real estate financings, and related corporate finance transactions. Candidate Profile

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 3-6 years of substantive corporate finance or lending experience
  • Experience drafting loan, security, intercreditor, and related financing documents
  • Proven ability to advise on covenant compliance and structure complex transactions
  • Experience leading due diligence teams and managing specialists
  • Strong experience managing multiple assignments with minimal supervision
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong academic credentials and a collaborative, client-focused mindset

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and handle finance and lending deals from start to finish for financial institutions, private credit lenders, or borrowers, covering everything from loan originations to real estate financings.
  • Conduct and coordinate due diligence, managing specialists and internal teams
  • Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary documentation
  • Provide strategic advice on covenant compliance, risk mitigation, and transaction structuring
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to develop innovative financing solutions
  • Work across offices to deliver high-quality service in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

  • Competitive Salary: Annual salary range of $180,000- $315,000, as determined by experience and market factors
